Toad Hop Outdoors
Privacy Policy
This page describes information handled by the features currently available on this site.
Messages sent through the contact form
The public contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. When you submit it, those details are saved in the site database. The site then tries to record the submission in the company's Polsia inbox. If that recording does not succeed, the site sends a notification to the configured company email address, when one is configured.
Signed-in accounts and community features
If you create an account, the site handles account information such as your name and email address, along with records used for email-and-password sign-in. Login session records include a session identifier and expiration; they can also contain an IP address and browser user-agent value.
If you use the profile and community features, the information stored can include profile details you enter, such as display name, bio, interests, location, and availability; profile visibility and location preferences; and details for outings you create, including their date, location, description, visibility, and participation. Link-Up requests and messages, related notifications, blocks, and reports are also stored when those features are used. The app also records age confirmation during account creation.
Deployment-configured visitor beacon
Some deployments provide an analytics configuration. When the deployment includes that configuration, the site sends a page-load beacon to the configured Polsia endpoint with the deployment identifier and a randomly generated visitor identifier. The visitor identifier is kept in this browser's local storage for later page loads. Without the deployment analytics identifier, the beacon does not run.
